We strive to be a premier provider of mental health and substance use disorder treatment. All therapists are experienced master’s level professionals with over twenty years experience in the field of behavioral health. By using our combined professional experience and the best practices available in our field, we provide support tailored to your specific needs.

Mental Health

Our therapists are highly trained and compassionate. With a focus on understanding individual client needs, our outpatient services provide the highest quality care for every client. We help our clients deal with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, stress, depression, grief, trauma, and many other issues. Our caring and knowledgeable therapists will work along side you as you move toward improved well-being.

Substance Use Disorders.

We believe that addiction is a chronic brain disease and support our clients using current evidence based best practices. We start with a thorough assessment and determine what kind of treatment or other services will help lead to recovery and sobriety. We provide Medication-Assisted Treatment with both Suboxone and injectable Sulocade and combine this treatment with therapy, Recovery Coach support, and other services to help you battle this devastating disease.

Special Assessments

At ACAC our licensed counselors can provide both driver’s license and court evaluations. We have been providing these evaluations for over 20 years in West Michigan.

• Driver’s License Appeal Evaluations. The foundation of a driver’s license re-instatement appeal is the Substance Use Evaluation – an evaluation of whether the substance abuse problem that caused the loss of the driver’s license is now under control. Our licensed professional counselors are trained to complete Substance Use Evaluations and have been doing so for over 20 years. We will prepare the evaluation and provide you with the completed form for your appeal hearing.

• Psychosocial and Substance Abuse Evaluations. Our counselors are able to complete court ordered pre-trial and post-trial psychosocial and substance use evaluations.
